Dordt College Women's Volleyball vs. Bellevue

(Bellevue, Nebraska) The Dordt Lady Defenders controlled their match with the Bellevue Bruins in Bellevue, Nebraska from start to finish and took a 3-0 decision. The Lady Defenders used a 9-1 run in the first game to go from a 7-5 lead to a 16-6 lead and never looked back in the game winning 30-17. Game two was closer with nine ties, the last one coming at 15 before Dordt built a two point lead and the Bruins were never closer than that with the visitors winning 30-24. Game three was similar with the final tie coming at 14-14. The Lady Defenders took a 19-15 lead, forcing a Bruin timeout and were never challenged in taking a 30-20 decision.

The Lady Defenders got 16 kills from Tara DeBoer and 12 from Rachel Pontier. Alisa Den Hartog put up 44 assists and Jill Bouma led in digs with 18.
