It is the mission of the Student Health and Counseling Center is to support students by promoting and maintaining optimal physical and emotional health as they pursue their academic and life goals. Student Health and Counseling Center provides medical and counseling services to all full-time Dordt students.

A Registered Nurse is on staff daily to treat a variety of medical concerns, and a Nurse Practitioner is available for a limited number of hours each week. Visits are free of charge; a fee is incurred for purchase of medications, or when the services of an outside laboratory are utilized. Please see the Medical Services page for more information.

The Student Health and Counseling Center seeks to support students who are facing emotional or relational distress by providing quality mental health care from a Christian perspective. As trained therapists, they strive to provide services with respect for the unique needs of each client in a safe, confidential environment. Students in need of long-term, ongoing counseling are referred off campus. Please see the Student Health and Counseling Center page for more information.

Medical Clinic:

  • Walk-in Clinic: 9am-12pm.
  • By Appointment: 12:30-3pm.

Counseling: By appointment only.
