The main goals and objectives of the Spanish program are to help students dive into studying both the language and culture of Spanish-speaking people.

- To help students develop their oral and written language skills
- To assist students as they study Spanish people's values and beliefs as expressed in their economic, political, and religious systems

### STRENGTHS

- Our faculty member has spoken and written in Spanish for years, including completing a terminal degree entirely in Spanish
- There are opportunities to work and volunteer in the community to gain a strong understanding of the Spanish language
