Dordt College Men's Golf at GPAC #4

The Dordt College golf team placed seventh at GPAC Qualifier #4 at Prairie Green Golf Course in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Defenders carded a 330 as a team on the final day of the event which spans the fall and spring season.

Dordt's Jordan Janz shot a 79 to tie for tenth on the breezy day at the par-72, 7085 yard course. Mike Behnke and Derek Dreise each shot 83's and Ryan Kamp had an 85 to round out Dordt's scores. Ben Christians shot a 91 for Dordt's fifth score. Only the top four scores are counted towards the team total.

Nick Gates from Dakota Wesleyan had the low score for the day with a 72.

Final team standings with all four rounds complete.

Overall Dordt placed eighth in the 13 team field with a 1353. Nebraska Wesleyan shot a 1241 to claim the GPAC title.

Dordt's Jordan Janz completed the event with a score of 313 and was sixth in the medalist chase. Ryan Kamp finished in a tie for 19th with a 329 and Mike Behnke was 31st with a 353. Luke Vermeer, a senior at Northwestern, was the medalist with a 297 and will golf at the NAIA National Meet.
