Dordt College Men's Golf at Nebraska Wesleyan Invite

The Dordt College Defender golf team shot a 325 on the opening day of the Nebraska Wesleyan Invite in Lincoln, Nebraska on Thursday, September13. Thirteen teams are participating in the event adn the Dordt College Defenders are in a tie with Hastings College after 18 holes of play.

Dordt's Collin Broekhuis shot a 78 and Jared Rempel a 79 at Wilderness Ridge Golf Club in Lincoln, Matt Zwart carded an 80 for the Defenders and Brad Evenson and Joel Wiersma had an 87 and 89 respectively in the event that will conclude Friday at Woodland Hills Golf Club in Eagle, Nebraska.

Nebraska Wesleyan got out before the wind came up and were the beneficiaries of the calmer conditions, shooting a 298.
