Dr. Zonnefeld provides leadership for teaching excellence, including co-leading the New Faculty Seminar, planning and conducting faculty teaching observations, and hosting summer teaching and learning workshops. He also serves as a co-Principal Investigator on a $1.2 million [Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship program grant](https://www.dordt.edu/noyce-scholars) that provides significant scholarships for STEM education majors. Prior to his work as Associate Dean and Director of Assessment, Dr. Zonnefeld taught both undergraduate and graduate courses for the Education Department at Dordt. **Education** - Ph.D. in Education with a specialization in Educational Leadership, Iowa State University, 2009. - M.A. in Educational Administration (Elementary), University of South Dakota, 2001. - B.A. in Elementary Education and K-12 Choral/Instrumental Music Education, Dordt University, 1997.
