Randy Feenstra was born and raised in Hull, IA. He received his BA from Dordt College and has a master’s degree in Public Administration from Iowa State University. He is currently working on his doctorate in Business Administration from Northcentral University. He is married to his wife Lynette, and they have four children, Taylor, Erika, Dawson, and Savannah.
Randy has been the Head of Sales at The Foreign Candy Sales, Hull City Administrator, Sioux County Treasurer, bank insurance manager and currently is a professor at Dordt University teaching in business and public administration fields. He is in his 3rd term as State Senator and Chairs the Ways and Means Committee. He also sits on the Commerce and State Government committees. He enjoys running in his spare time and has completed 4-marathons.
