Mary McKenzie DeGroot is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in London. During culinary school, she honed her skills working in the restaurant industry in London and her hometown in Maryland. She served as chef de partie at New York City's iconic Union Square Café and was later offered the role of sous chef.
