Mariellen Van Nieuwenhuyzen (Hofland) is a graduate of Dordt University (2016) and UC Davis School of Medicine (2022). She finds joy in her work as a family medicine resident physician in SW Idaho, as well as in writing for several online Christian publications and literary magazines.
