 ![]() **Kyle Van Wyk** serves as instructor of health sciences at Dordt University.

He teaches courses such as Personal and Public Health as well as Sport in Society and Culture. One course, [Sport and Exercise in Society and Culture, culminated in a two-week trip](https://www.dordt.edu/news/studying-abroad-in-three-weeks-or-less) to Scotland where students experienced sport events and culture in Scotland.

Van Wyk has extensive experience as a sports performance coach.

“What excites me most is the future and potential of Dordt’s HHP department. I am eager to use my skill set to keep helping push the program forward, particularly in hands-on opportunities for our students,” says Van Wyk.
