[Macy Sievers](https://godordt.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/macy-sievers/13365) (Junior; Storm Lake, Iowa) was named the Player of the Year and First Team NAIA All-American for the second straight year and [Janie Van Donge](https://godordt.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/janie-van-donge/13364) (Senior; Hospers, Iowa) was named to the NAIA All-American Second Team. ## Macy Sievers ![](https://d3evso2dxyohou.cloudfront.net/generalUploads/2023-24/662A0601-edit.jpg?mode=fit&pos=center-center&w=57&h=65&c=57bfeb82&v=9725651919f163d903d806682fc578787da5f57d70a78a10298640f8ed553d3f) Sievers recently completed a season where she was named First Team All-GPAC and GPAC Player of the Year and was named to the NAIA National Championship All-Tournament Team and was the Championship MVP for a second straight. Sievers averaged 15.6 points per game this season with 7.6 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game this season. In the six NAIA National Championship games this year Sievers averaged 16.7 points, 9.1 assists and 7.7 rebounds per contest and recorded two triple-doubles. She has scored 1,315 (7th all-time) career points, grabbed 694 rebounds (13th all-time), 732 assists (1st all-time) , 279 steals (2nd all-time) and has made 124 three-point shots (9th all-time). ## Janie Van Donge ![](https://d3evso2dxyohou.cloudfront.net/generalUploads/2023-24/662A3940-edit.jpg?mode=fit&pos=center-center&w=57&h=65&c=d219bcd0&v=ae4ca4baedf5bd7884ca91bb345d83bd65755bcde3414014c52910e0a30830f3) Van Donge was also named First Team All-GPAC this season and was named to the NAIA National Championship All-Tournament Team and earned the Hustle Award for the second straight year. Van Donge led the team in scoring with a 16.3 points per game average and took in 10.2 rebounds per game while converting 56.5 percent of her field goal attempts. In the six NAIA National Championship games Van Donge averaged15.2 points and 11.7 rebounds per game while converting 61 percent of her field goal attempts. Van Donge graduates from the Dordt program with 1,741 points (4th all-time), 1,151 rebounds (1st all-time), 187 assists (30th all-time), 147 steals (17th all-time), 672 made field goals (2nd all-time), 346 made free throws (4th all-time), 59.6 field goal percentage (2nd all-time) and 80.4 free throw percentage (4th all-time). This is the first time a Dordt athlete has been named the NAIA Basketball Player of the Year and the seventh straight season a Dordt women's basketball player has been named a NAIA All-American.
