The Defenders used a strong defense to pull away from a 3-2 lead and scored 12 points in a row, capping the run with a [Macy Sievers](https://godordt.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/macy-sievers/13365) basket for a 15-12 lead. [Desta Hoogendoorn](https://godordt.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/desta-hoogendoorn/13371) got Dordt back on track with back to back baskets and five unanswered by [Macy Sievers](https://godordt.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/macy-sievers/13365) to end the half put Dordt up 39-23. The Chargers twice rallied to within 12 twice, the last time at 44-32 but [Stella Charleston's](https://godordt.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/stella-charleston/13368) second three-point basket capped an 8-2 run for a 52-34 lead and extended the lead to 64-41 on a Sievers three-point basket right before the horn. The fourth quarter was played between a 22 and 28 point difference for the eventual 23-point victory. [Macy Sievers](https://godordt.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/macy-sievers/13365) highlighted the Dordt effort with her second triple-double of the season with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists and three steals. Dordt is 29-2 and will await its post season assignment which will be announced on Thursday night, March 6.
