The recital will take place in the B.J. Haan Auditorium, beginning at 3:10 p.m. The recital will feature solo vocal and instrumental performances by scholarship recipients from the incoming freshman class, as well as several upperclassmen. These named music scholarships, supported by Dordt University donors, are awarded to students who have made significant musical contributions in their schools, communities, or Dordt’s music department. Performers include: - Abraham Hall (senior, organ) - John & Reona Reinsma Organ Scholarship - Fischer Blok (freshman, tenor) - LEAH Music Scholarship - Mallory J. Warmka (freshman, piano) - LEAH Music Scholarship - Maren Hettinga (senior, trumpet) - Norm & Val Duininck Music Scholarship - Delilah Thompson (junior, soprano) - Kathy Buteyn Choral Music Education Scholarship - Brynn Vanden Brink (freshman, cello) - Den Besten Music Scholarship – Instrumental - Micah Wilterdink (freshman, baritone) - Den Besten Music Scholarship – Vocal - Silas Reynolds (freshman, piano) - Dordt Music Patrons Scholarship - Jaylie De Jager (freshman, oboe) - LEAH Music Scholarship - Gracia Kooima (freshman, piano) - Den Besten Music Scholarship – Keyboard - Ella Huisinga (junior, soprano) - Marcia Roskamp Verbrugge Music Scholarship - Emma Phillips (senior, piano) - Marvin & Esther Van Donselaar Music Scholarship - Courtney Joiner (senior, clarinet) - Steensma Music Scholarship - Tori Ensink (senior, organ) - Carol Lee Zylstra Memorial Church Music Scholarship, Mildred M.
