# Dordt University to host spring choral concert on May 2

Dordt University's music department will present a spring choral ensembles concert on Saturday, May 2 at 7 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.

 ![]()The community is invited to attend Dordt University's spring choral ensembles concert on Saturday, May 2 at 7 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.

The concert will feature four of the Dordt Choral Ensembles: Bella Voce (women’s chorus), Canons of Dordt (men’s chorus), Chorale, and Concert Choir. Repertoire will draw from a wide range of styles and centuries. Bella Voce is conducted by Dr. Carrie Groenewold, Canons of Dordt by Tim Van Voorst, and Chorale and Concert Choir by Dr. Ryan Smit.

The concert and a PDF program will also be available on livestream at <https://www.dordt.edu/live-events>.

## Dordt introduces new faith-based investment competition

“As an engineering major, a stock pitch competition was not something I thought I would do at Dordt,” Miller says. “Through this challenge, I gained the skills necessary to accurately value a stock using financial models and data-backed projections. I’m now able to make a well-supported recommendation to potential investors.”
