Haan Auditorium. The worship ceremony will include a faculty procession in full regalia, thanksgiving for God's work in the lives of Dordt students, and the conferral of diplomas. A lunch reception will be held after the event. This year’s ceremony will feature an address [by Dr. Gayle Doornbos, a theologian and Dordt faculty member](https://www.dordt.edu/news/dr-gayle-doornbos-to-serve-as-2025-undergraduate-commencement-speaker-at-dordt). The Master’s Commencement and Hooding Ceremony will follow at 2 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. This ceremony recognizes the dedication and perseverance of graduate students who have balanced rigorous academic work alongside careers, family responsibilities, and other commitments. [Dr. Kathleen VanTol, professor of education,](https://www.dordt.edu/news/dr-kathleen-vantol-to-serve-as-masters-commencement-speaker-at-dordt) will serve as speaker for the Master’s Commencement and Hooding Ceremony. A light reception will be held following the ceremony. Both ceremonies will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person. For more details about Dordt’s commencement events, visit [dordt.edu/events/commencement](https://www.dordt.edu/events/commencement). ### **Guest information: Parking and construction updates** Eventgoers should note that the preferred entrance into campus is from 7th St. NE. Please avoid entering campus from 4th Avenue, as it will not be accessible during this time. Guests are encouraged to park in the parking lots on the east side of campus. Overflow parking lots include: - the All-Seasons Center lot - the lot east of Sioux Center Middle School (please look out for school children) - the gravel lot near the city's recreational softball diamonds off of 12th St. NE There will be shuttles available at the parking lots as well. Also, eventgoers should allow for extra time for arrival due to ongoing road construction on Highway 75 through Sioux Center. This spring and summer, Highway 75 construction will take place from 5th Street S and 4th St. North. During construction season, part or all of this stretch of the highway will be fully closed to traffic, and drivers will need to take a detour.
