Dordt University will hold two commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 9.
Dordt University will celebrate the Class of 2025 with two commencement ceremonies taking place on Friday, May 9, in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.
The Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 9, at 9:30 a.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. For this ceremony, the B.J. Haan Auditorium seats are ticketed, but overflow seating will be available in the De Witt Gymnasium.
The Master’s Commencement and Hooding Ceremony will follow at 2 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. Tickets are not required for the Master’s Commencement and Hooding Ceremony.
More than 465 students are expected to graduate this year.
For those unable to attend in person, both ceremonies will be livestreamed at www.dordt.edu/commencement.
Eventgoers should note that the preferred entrance into campus is from 7th St. NE. Please avoid entering campus from 4th Avenue, as it will not be accessible during this time.

There will be shuttles available at the parking lots as well.
Also, eventgoers should allow for extra time for arrival due to ongoing road construction on Highway 75 through Sioux Center. This spring and summer, Highway 75 construction will take place from 5th Street S and 4th St. North. During construction season, part or all of this stretch of the highway will be fully closed to traffic, and drivers will need to take a detour.
