Dordt University hosts annual Fall Music Festival

During Defender Days, Dordt University's Music Department will present a fall music festival featuring student ensembles.

A choir of about 45 people wearing matching navy robes stands on tiered risers, singing toward a conductor in front of a grand piano on a stage inside a concert hall.

Dordt University’s Music Department will host a Fall Music Festival on Friday, October 16 as part of Defender Days.

A cherished tradition, the Fall Music Festival features the following student ensembles: Bella Voce, Canons, Chorale, Concert Choir, Chamber Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony. The Choral Festival starts at 7 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium, followed by the instrumental ensembles at 8:30 p.m.
