The idea for the jersey originally grew out of Dordt’s expanding cycling community, which includes alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the university who enjoy everything from casual group rides to long-distance cycling events like RAGBRAI. Whether riding RAGBRAI, commuting across town, or joining a weekend group ride, the Dordt cycling jersey gives Defender cyclists a visible way to represent and connect with their community.
