With the weather cooperating, we should see steady progress on the project. Watch for the foundation of the second building to go in soon, and the work on the walls to begin thereafter.” The townhomes, which are slated to be finished by the fall 2024 semester, will be comprised of two buildings connected by a small storage and mechanical area. Each building will have three 2-bedroom units and two 1-bedroom units. Vice President for Student Success and Dean of Students Robert Taylor says that students appreciated the open layout of the main level and how much the space felt like home. “Having a front and back door also makes the space feel more like a home in a neighborhood,” adds Taylor. “Plus, they love the rooftop patio!” Construction is being completed by Vision Builders. **About Dordt University** As an institution of higher education committed to the Reformed Christian perspective, Dordt University equips students, faculty, alumni, and the broader community to work toward Christ-centered renewal in all aspects of contemporary life.
