# Dordt to present 4th Avenue Jazz concert on April 27

The Dordt University Music Department will present a 4th Avenue Jazz concert on Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.

 ![]()The Dordt University Music Department will present a 4th Avenue Jazz concert on Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.

 Featured on the concert will be the 4th Avenue Singers and 4th Avenue Band.

Come for a relaxed evening of big band standards, pop tune covers, and newer works.

The concert will also be available on [livestream](https://www.dordt.edu/live-events).

## Dordt mathematics major receives prestigious NSF Fellowship

Anika Homan has received the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, providing a five-year financial support package including a $37,000 annual stipend. Homan's fellowship, which is awarded to only 2,000 out of 12,000 applicants annually, will support her pursuit of a Ph.D. in mathematical logic.
