Dordt mathematics and music: performance and pedagogy major to give recital on April 18
Dordt University junior Josiah Vos of Sioux City, Iowa, will perform a piano recital on April 18 at 2 p.m. in the Jim and Marilyn Dean Recital Hall.
Josiah Vos, a mathematics and music: performance and pedagogy major from Sioux City, Iowa at Dordt University, will present a piano recital on April 18 at 2 p.m. in the Jim and Marilyn Dean Recital Hall. A public reception will follow the performance.
A public reception will be held following the performance.
Vos will perform Chopin’s "Balade No. 1" and Ravel’s "Jeux d’eau," as well as selected works by Bach, Mozart, and Bartok.
In addition to his studies, Vos is a Concert Choir accompanist, a pianist for 4th Avenue Jazz, and won second place at the 2024 Bill Riley Talent Search at the Iowa State Fair. His private instructor is James March.
