Haan Auditorium. The program will focus on the development of beloved psalms and chorales by Dutch and Flemish composers and will include congregational singing. The recital is a preview of her recent recording project, which is forthcoming. In addition to her role as professor of music, Groenewold also serves as the university organist and director of keyboard activities at Dordt. Her teaching portfolio includes private organ instruction, music theory, and directing the Bella Voce Women’s Chorus. With a D.M.A. in Church Music from the University of Kansas, her research focuses on Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck's Genevan Psalm settings. Groenewold has collaborated with various orchestras and choirs.
