Corkill Chooses Dordt

(Friday, July 15, 2022; Sioux Center, Iowa) Paige Corkill, a recent graduate of Lynden Christian High School (Washington), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender track and field program.

Corkill is a javelin thrower and pole vaulter.

“I really liked everything about Dordt and everyone I talked to had good things to say.  It seems like a good fit for me,” said Corkill.

Paige is the daughter of Mark and Jayleen Corkill of Lynden, Washington. She is undecided on her intended field of study.

Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA). 

U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
