Peacock To Join Defender Basketball

(May, 6, 2022; Sioux Center, Iowa) Ella Peacock, a senior at Resurrection Christian High School (Colorado), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender basketball program.
Peacock averaged 6.3 points and three rebounds per game as a junior and has dealt with injuries during the course of her high school career. Peacock is a 5-10 forward/guard.
“I chose to commit to Dordt University because I love the culture and community they have there and how they place a Christian emphasis on and in everything they do whether in the gym or in the classroom,” said Peacock.
Ella is the daughter of Anne and Ron Peacock of Timnath, Colorado. She plans to study business administration at Dordt.
Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).
U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
