(Thursday, April 28, 2022; Sioux Center, Iowa) Caden Koole, a senior at Prospect Ridge Academy, has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender golf program.
"Caden is going to be a great addition to our team. He comes to Dordt with a good deal of success in tournament golf and we are excited to see how his game translates to collegiate level competition," said Dordt golf coach Jon Crane.
Koole shot an average of 77 in 2021 and placed 14th at the state meet with a 75-77. He was named to the 2021 all-state team and twice was named to the academic all-state first-team in 2020 and 2021.
“Dordt University is the right school for me because of the great Christian atmosphere it has in the classrooms and in the students. At Dordt I am very excited to make lots of new friends while getting my education and competing on the golf team at the same time,” said Koole.
Caden is the son of Dan and Kim Koole of Broomfield, Colorado. He plans to study finance at Dordt.
