Drost Picks Dordt

(Thursday, April 28, 2022; Sioux Center, Iowa) Megan Drost, a senior at Zeeland West High School (Michigan), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender soccer program.

Drost earned most improved honors from her high school team.

“When I first visited Dordt I was unsure, but the moment I stepped on campus I knew this was where I wanted to go. I felt so at home and so welcome. Going to college wasn’t as daunting anymore because I knew I wanted to go to Dordt and I knew I would feel at home. I know I would find a family there, especially in the soccer team,” said Drost.

Megan is the daughter of Peter and Jennifer Drost of Zeeland, Michigan. She plans to study education at Dordt.

Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).
