Krull To Join Defender Track and Field

(Friday, April 15, 2022; Sioux Center, Iowa) Brynn Krull, a senior at Central Lyon High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender track and field program.

Krull placed 10th in the 2021 Class 1A state tournament and has a personal best of 108-2 in the discus and 30-3 in the shot put.

“I decided to commit to Dordt because the team was very kind, and everyone seemed very tight knit. I loved how everyone just showed Jesus’s love so much.  I also like that it’s close to home,” said Krull.

Brynn is the daughter of Marc and Natalie Krull of Rock Rapids, Iowa. She plans to study criminal justice at Dordt.

Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).

U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
