Moscardo Added To Soccer

(Monday, March 7, 2022; Sioux Center, Iowa) Javier Moscardo, a student at Hoosac School (New York), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender soccer program.

“It has been a joy getting to know Javier throughout the recruitment process. Javier is a creative attacker that will add depth to our attacking front. We were drawn to his pursuit of growth and look forward to watching him develop at Dordt. We’re excited to add Javier to our 2022 class,” said Dordt coach Ryan Gresse.

Moscardo has played winger and attacking midfielder during his career and scored 12 goals with 16 assists during the 2021-22 season.

“I am very happy to commit to Dordt University and I am very grateful to Coach Gresse and Coach Bourdo for the trust and interest they have shown through out the process. It is a competitive program and I will do my best from one to compete for championships at Dordt.  Academically it is a selective university where I hope to grow as a person and become a good professional in the future. Lastly, I am excited to be a part of the Dordt community and look forward to contributing to it,” said Moscardo.

Javier is the son of Emilia and Chema Moscardo. He plans to study computer science at Dordt.
