Women's Track and Field Earns Top 10 Ranking

The Dordt University women's track and field team holds down a top 10 ranking in the first installment of the NAIA Indoor Rating Index released by the United States Track and Field / Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) earlier today.
The Defenders totaled 117.33 points and earn the No.8 spot in the first poll of the 2022 indoor season.
The ranking is based solely of marks / times from this season; NO previous year's marks are considered.
Dordt is one of four GPAC teams in the top 10 and one of four recognized in the top 25; Concordia (2), Hastings (5), Doane (6) and Northwestern (23).
The Defenders finished fifth at last year's NAIA Indoor Championship and third in 2021 GPAC Championship. Three Dordt entries have met the 'A' standard through four meets this season; Jessica Kampman (5K), Anmarie Stuit (600m) and 4x400 relay.
