Football Team 25th In Poll

(Wednesday, November 10; Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt Defenders are back in the NAIA Football Coaches’ Poll released earlier this week by the NAIA.  The Defenders, 6-3 this season, took 26 points in the balloting and are tied for 25th in the ninth in-season polling.

Dordt was a 58-0 winner over Briar Cliff on Saturday, November 6 and will travel to face Jamestown on Saturday, November 13 to conclude the season.

Dordt is tied with Langston (Oklahoma) and Culver-Stockton (Missouri) is rated 24th in the voting with 48 points. The Defenders have been in the top-25 in eight of the nine polls this season.  GPAC members Morningside and Northwestern are second and fourth in the poll.
