(Tuesday, November 9; Sioux Center, Iowa) Lourdes Mulcrone, a senior at Southwest Christian High School (Minnesota), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender dance program.
“We are so very excited to welcome Lourdes to our dance family next year! Lourdes joined us this past summer at our high school dance camp and we knew right away that she would be a great fit for our team! She brings energy and a hard work ethic, and we are looking forward to seeing what she will all accomplish on our team next year,” said Dordt dance coach Mel Knobloch.
Mulcrone has been a part of a dance program at Southwest Christian that began during her sophomore season and she has served as a team captain while earning all-conference in jazz and kick in 2021.
“I chose Dordt because it gave me everything I was looking for. I am able to keep dancing, learn from amazing professors, and continue to keep pursuing my relationship with Christ surrounded by my classmates and teammates who want to do the same,” said Mulcrone.
Lourdes is the daughter of Vaughn and Bridgette Mulcrone of Eden Prairie, Minnesota. She plans to pursue a degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
