Dordt University is set to host Presentation this weekend in GPAC men's soccer match-up. Saturday's match is set for a 2:15pm start.

Since a 2-0 win against Avila (Mo.) on Sept. 12, the Saints have lost six consecutive matches heading into Saturday's contest against Dordt. Presentation is 0-7 in the GPAC, 1-9 overall, and most recently has losses to Jamestown (4-1) and Dakota Wesleyan (2-1).

Picked to finish 12th in the GPAC preseason coaches' poll, the Saints return seven starters from a 2020 team that went 0-11, both in the GPAC and overall.

Terrance Kampa, a former standout player for the Saints, is in his fifth season as the head of the Presentation program.

Presentation is scoring just over one goal per match (11 total), led by Alex Kowalski with three. Both Armando Quintero and Jubril Adesigbin have netted two goals each and Quintero has a team-best two assists.

Clayton Scott has 59 saves and is giving up 4.8 goals per match.

The Defenders own a 2-10-2 overall record and are 1-6 in the GPAC, good for 11th place in the current standings. They have dropped their last four matches since earning a 3-2 home win against Midland on Sept. 25.

This marks one of the final home matches for the three seniors associated with the program; Nolan Regan, C.J. Schulz and Sam Brouwer.

  • Nolan Regan - 4-year letterwinner, 3-year starter, all-conference honors in 2020, 2 goals scored, NAIA Scholar Athlete.
  • C.J. Schulz - 3-year starter on defense
  • Sam Brouwer - NAIA Scholar Athlete; four-year member for the Defenders.

Dordt is 9-0 all-time against the Saints, including a 3-0 record in matches played in Sioux Center. The teams have played one time per season since 2016; the initial match was played in 2001. Last year, Dordt earned a 4-1 win against Presentation.
