Evans Added To Basketball Class

(Wednesday, May 5; Sioux Center, Iowa) Wyatt Evans, a senior at Heritage Christian Academy (Kansas), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender basketball program.

“We are excited to have Wyatt join the Dordt Basketball family.  We look forward to his development as a person, as a man of faith, and as a basketball player,” said Dordt basketball coach Brian Van Haaften.

Evans is a 6-0 guard and averaged nine points, three rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game.

“I chose Dordt because it offers a good Christ-centered education with a good basketball program where I can improve my game,” said Evans.

Waytt is the son of Doug and Keri Evans of Edgerton, Kansas. He plans to study Marketing at Dordt.

Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition.
