Softball Plays Two In Jamestown Today

Dordt will play a GPAC doubleheader with Jamestown on Wednesday, April 7 and is scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm.
The Jamestown Jimmies are 21-7 this season and 4-2 in the GPAC and they are riding a five-game winning streak. Jamestown has a .354 team batting average and have outscored teams 203-105.
Morgan Geiszler has 42 hits and a .457 batting average and Sydney Prussia is batting .439 with 29 hits. Geiszler has a team high five homeruns and has 11 stolen bases. Mariah Wick has 15 stolen bases and 29 hits. Jamestown has 11 players with at least 17 games started and a .300 or better batting average.
Dordt is 15-15 after splitting with Northwestern on Tuesday night. The Defenders are also 4-4 in league play.
Jessica Oules is batting .382 with 34 hits and five runs batted in with 10 stolen bases. Hannah Sikkema Is batting .366 with 25 hits and 13 runs batted in. Kenzie Cunard’s batting average is .316 with four doubles, two homeruns and 16 runs batted in and Rachel Evavold has 22 base hits and 16 runs batted in.
Abby Kraemer is 7-6 on the mound with a 2.01 earned run average and she has 94 innings pitched with 106 strikeouts. Rachel Evavold is 6-4 with a 2.97 earned run average and she has 40 strikeouts in 63 and two-third innings.
Dordt has a substantial amount of time off now and will resume play on April 16 at home against Hastings.
