Softball Plays GPAC Contests With Midland

Dordt opens GPAC softball play on Saturday, March 25 at 1:00 pm against Midland in Fremont, Nebraska.The games will be part of a doubleheader.

Midland is 12-5 this season and will be playing in its GPAC opener against Dordt.
Emily Prai has a .547 batting average with 35 hits and has scored a team high 26 runs and has seven stolen bases. Roni Foote bats .446 with 25 hits and seven homeruns with a team high 23 runs batted in. Sierra Athow bats .404 and Andrea Cespedes is batting .371 with 16 runs batted in. Carly Pfitzer has five homeruns with 22 runs batted in.
Aliyah Rincon’s pitching record is 6-2 with a 3.00 earned run average with 49 innings pitched and 62 strikeouts. Hailee Fliam is 6-3 with a 3.89 earned run average and has 54 innings pitched and 41 strikeouts.
Dordt is 13-11 after a sweep of Dakota Wesleyan over the weekend. The Defenders stand 2-0 in GPAC play and are batting .299 as a team and have outscored teams 204-162.
Jessica Oules is batting .406 with 28 hits and five runs batted in with 10 stolen bases. Hannah Sikkema Is batting .386 with 22 hits and 13 runs batted in. Kenzie Cunard’s batting average is .354 with four doubles and 15 runs batted in and Rachel Evavold has lifted his batting average to .292 with 19 hits and 13 runs batted in.
Abby Kraemer is 6-4 on the mound with a 1.51 earned run average and she has 74 innings pitched with 90 strikeouts. Rachel Evavold is 5-2 with a 2.46 earned run average and she has 28 strikeouts in 48 innings.
Dordt will host Mount Marty on Tuesday night and will travel to Orange City to face Northwestern on Wednesday night.
