Men's Cross Country Holds On To Seventh Spot In Rating

(Thursday, March 18; Sioux Center, Iowa)  The NAIA has announced its most recent 2020 Men’s Cross Country Coaches’ Poll and the Dordt Defenders are no. 7 in the initial ranking.

Dordt totaled 420 points in the voting done by 19 coaches representing each of the NAIA conferences.

Huntington (Indiana) is in the top spot with 519 points and ten first place votes. Saint Mary (Kansas) holds the second spot less than a month out from the NAIA National Championship and Dordt is 25 points behind Cornerstone (Michigan) who occupies the sixth spot in the poll

Other GPAC teams in the poll include Northwestern (18) and Doane (24).  The NAIA National Championship race will be run Friday, April 9 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
