Colwell To Dance For Defenders

(Friday, October 16; Sioux Center, Iowa) Victoria Colwell, a senior at Mitchell High School (South Dakota), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender dance program.
Colwell has been involved with dance for 14 years and is on the Mitchell High Dance Team and is with the Dance Expressions dance studio and A.Hhh Dance. She’s been named an All-American Dancer.
“I am so very excited that Victoria Colwell has committed to Dordt and will be joining our program next year! She is a wonderful dancer with great technique and personality, and will be a great addition to our team,” said Dordt dance coach Mel Knobloch.
Victoria is the daughter of Chad and RaShara Colwell of Mitchell, South Dakota. She plans to enter the Nursing program at Dordt.
Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).
U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
