Bostwick To Golf For Defenders

(Thursday, May 28; Sioux Center, Iowa) Rachel Bostwick, a senior at Faribault High School (Minnesota), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender golf program.
Bostwick had five top-three finishes during the 2019 Junior PGA season and was voted captain of her team in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to COVID 19.
"I had a great campus visit and liked the atmosphere. I am planning to major in math/data science and felt that Dordt was a good fit. I love playing golf and believe Dordt will give me an opportunity to contribute and play right away," said Bostwick.
Rachel is the daughter of Dwight and Laurie Bostwick of Faribault, Minnesota. She plans to study Mathematics at Dordt.
Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian university rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).
U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
