(Wednesday, November 20; Sioux Center, Iowa) Brandon Hansen, a senior at Legacy High School (Colorado), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender soccer program.

He was a second-team all-conference pick in 2019 and helped his team to a Front Range League Championship as a senior.
"Brandon is athletic, intelligent and has a great work ethic. He will be a great culture piece and exemplifies the characteristics we are building this program on. We are thrilled to add Brandon to our 2020 class," said Dordt soccer coach Ryan Gresse.
He also played for the Broomfield Soccer Club which won the 2018 and 2019 Real Cup Championships, the 2018 President's Day Tournament Championship and was on a 2019 State Cup Semifinalist.
"I chose to commit to Dordt University because I love the group of guys I’m going to be playing with and the Christ-centered atmosphere within the university. Additionally, Dordt offers a degree I want to pursue and I am excited to live in a new place for the next four years," said Hansen.
Brandon is the son of Selby and Rachael Hansen of Broomfield, Colorado. He plans to study Business at Dordt.
