Kacmarynski Earns Academic All-District Honors

(Friday, November 15; Sioux Center, Iowa) The 2019 Academic All-District Football Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Director Association (CoSIDA), have been announced and David Kacmarynski (Junior; Pella, Iowa) has been named a first-team all-district honoree for a second straight year.

Kacmarynski has a 3.8 grade point average and is studying History and Political Science at Dordt. He has 33 solo and 13 assisted tackles this season with a team high 18.5 tackles for loss and seven quarterback sacks.  He’s intercepted two passes and recovered four fumbles.  Kacmaynski is the career leader at Dordt in sacks and was named GPAC Player of the Week and NAIA National Player of the Week for his play on November 16.

Kacmarynski now advances to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Ballot.  Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December.
