(Tuesday, August 13; Sioux Center, Iowa) The Great Plains Athletic Conference has released the 2019 Preseason Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Poll. The Dordt Defenders are picked seventh in the poll.

Dordt totaled 73 points in the annual balloting done by the 13 conference coaches.  Points are awarded in descending order with a first place vote carrying an 12 point value.  Coaches are not allowed to vote for their own teams.

The Defender women posted a 7-12 record last season and 5-7 GPAC mark.
