Williams To Join Defender Baseball

(Tuesday, July 3; Sioux Center, Iowa) Zach Williams, a graduate of Nampa Christian High School (Idaho), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender baseball program.

Williams has played the middle infield spots and outfield during his time at Nampa Christian and has also played for the Idaho Baseball Academy program. He batted .317 with five doubles and a homerun as a senior and earned all-conference honorable mention honors. He was part of three state title winning teams from 2016-18.

Zach is the son of Matt and Katrina Williams of Nampa, Idaho. He plans to study Biology or Health and Human Performance.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
