Award-winning nature photography on display in the Campus Center gallery until August 20.

Sioux Center, IA: Dordt College’s Campus Center art gallery will host the nature photography of Jan Forseth until August 20. Forseth specializes in scenic landscapes and animals living in the wild. Her photographs convey emotion, animal interaction, and the rich experience of being in the wild. She lives and travels in her RV full-time to hundreds of locations, exploring the diversity of the natural world. When not doing photography, Jan studies science, writing, consulting, and teaching. She is passionate about preserving open spaces, vistas, and wildlife habitats.
With award-winning published work in magazines and books, and exhibits in museums as well as on the web, her portfolio includes many endangered species and threatened locations. She was the Grand Prize Winner in the 5th Annual Nature Conservancy Photo Contest, and her image appeared on the cover of their calendar.
