Sioux Center, IA: On Saturday, March 3rd, Dordt will host its annual Cultural Fair. The student body at Dordt comprises representatives of more than 30 countries. At the fair, students have the chance to celebrate the culture of their home country, through food, clothing, and various activities.
The fair begins at 5 p.m. in the lower level of the Campus Center, with a fashion show at 7 p.m. There will be delicious ethnic food, singing, dancing, and traditional fashion from across the globe. Attendees have the opportunity to experience other cultures and the diversity of our world.
“As a member of the Students Without Borders club, I always look forward to the Cultural Fair!” says student Sophia Shin. “There is just something beautiful about creating an atmosphere where people from all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds gather and savor what God has blessed us with in this community. The international students have the chance to share their story and bring a taste of home to the table. I hope you would join us for this awesome event!”
The fair is hosted by Dordt's cross-cultural club Students Without Borders (SWB). It is free and open to the public.
