Baseball Adds Vander Hart

(Friday, June 9; Sioux Center, Iowa) Isaac Vander Hart, a senior at Pella Christian High School (Iowa), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender baseball program.

Vander Hart has been used mostly as at second base and pitcher during his career.  He has a 1.11 earned run average in 19 innings of work so far this season and has 30 strikeouts.  He is batting .400 and is a  three-time letterwinner for the Eagles.

Isaac is the son of Mike and Sandy Vander Hart of Pella, Iowa.  He plans to study Accounting at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
