Dordt College Men's Basketball vs. Dakota Wesleyan

(Mitchell, South Dakota) The Dordt College Defenders lost a tough contest, 75-73 in overtime to Dakota Wesleyan tonight in Mitchell, South Dakota. Dordt was able to send the game into overtime after Shawn De Stigter hit a left handed lay-up with time running out in regulation, tieing the score at 65. Dordt was unable to come away with the win as Dakota Wesleyan's Austin Ledeboer hit clutch free throws at the end of overtime, giving the Tigers the win 75-73. Dordt was led by Kyle Van Arendonk with 13, while Shawn De Stigter and Jeff Ver Steeg added 12 each. Dakota Wesleyan was led by Dave Nower with 20, as Austin Ledeboer added 18.
