The French minor seeks to equip students as they dive into studying both the language and culture of French-speaking people.

- To help students develop their oral and written language skills
- To assist students as the study French people's values and beliefs as expressed in their economic, political, and religious systems
- To gain a strong understanding of French literature

### STRENGTHS:

- Our faculty member has a strong understanding of the French language
- Students who study French at Dordt have the opportunity to study abroad to improve their French-speaking skills
