Dordt provides the perfect environment in which to unwind after a busy day. Our guests can work out in our state-of-the-art weight room located in the Rec Center, take a swim in the Olympic-size lap pool in the All Seasons Center, be inspired by our modern artwork displayed in the Campus Center, or simply rest in the shade of a tree in one of several landscaped areas or in Open Space Park, located adjacent to the college.
We invite you to enjoy the grounds of Dordt College or take advantage of the many recreational opportunities located in the city of Sioux Center. Two parks contain playground equipment, shelter houses, and paved volleyball courts. The Ridge Golf Club, which opened in 2009, offers an 18-hole course designed on a scenic location. The bike trail takes you on a 2.9-mile trail across town where it then joins the Sandy Hollow Trail. You can bike, walk, jog, or rollerblade along this beautiful paved system.
