Ideafest

IDEAFEST 2017 will be held on April 20

Join us for student presentations, such as ...

  • A short story or poem written over the last year
  • An overview of an experiment that was conducted
  • An interesting topic that has been researched
  • A great movie, shot & edited by students
  • A presentation made for a course assignment
  • Artwork recently created
All this fun takes place in the Campus Center on Thursday - April 20 - from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.

Ideafest is truly a multidisciplinary event, where history, psychology, engineering, biology, English, art, agriculture majors (and all other majors) present their research. It has helped showcase to all Dordt students and the surrounding community the exciting things going on in the classroom and the research being conducted by their fellow students.

Since 2004, Ideafest has taken over the Campus Center for an afternoon. There are five forums for student presentations chaired by a faculty member, with presentations held to a brief 10 minutes with 5 minutes for questions. There is also an area for poster presentations and for science experiments.
