Dordt Discovery Days is a five day camp for students who have completed 6th, 7th or 8th grades and wish to explore new interests or dive deeper into familiar ones. Students choose a morning and an afternoon class in the arts, sciences, humanities and sometimes recreational sports or activities. Students meet new friends from a variety of places and backgrounds, and they benefit from living and learning together in a Christian community. Dordt Discovery Days provides both an academic and social setting that encourages all students to develop a wide variety of skills and interests. This camp regularly has well over 200 students enroll.
There are three enrollment options: A day camper, on campus from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and attends two classes each day, a commuter, on campus from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and attends two classes each day plus stays for the evening activities, or a resident, who attends two classes, enjoys evening activities each day, and stays in campus housing for the week.
